Options

Options are just that – options. You do not ever have to ride an option if you do not wish to. Options are intended to challenge more advanced cyclists and/or visit specific unique historical, cultural, or natural attractions close to our main routes; they are not a required part of any event.

Century Options
In general, century options are set up at the end of the day rather than the beginning of the day. The end of the day is a more appropriate time to decide whether or not you can physically complete the century during the times the route is open. We encourage you to complete every day's ride without taking advantage of a support vehicle just because the wrong decision was made about your physical condition prior to undertaking the century option.

All century options have been designed so that you will always attain 100 miles of riding regardless of any other options you may have previously ridden that day.
