POLICIES
AND PROCEDURES
People Transportation Means
Participants may be transported by a number of different
means.
Public transportation carriers include long
distance public transportation carriers such as Amtrak,
Greyhound,
and MegaBus, and also local public transportation
carriers such as passenger busses and municipal busses.
We
may also transport passengers privately
aboard a charter school bus or coach bus or
one of our existing support vehicles. A staff member
may
travel with the group to help coordinate the journey.

We
prefer to have only one method of transporting all people
for
each transportation service. If this method becomes
full, we may handle overflow passengers in another way. For
example if a private charter coach bus becomes full we may
also transport people via a Greyhound
bus or Amtrak train. When our support vehicles are not the
primary means of transporting people, we will plan on leaving
seats open
in them as a contingency against other
travel methods filling up.
We will not provide any food or drinks during our transportation
services so we recommend eating before you arrive at our
transportation
staging point and also bringing some food and drinks with
you in case you get hungry along the way.
