Arrival, Check In, Opening Meeting, and Route Opening

Starting from Whiting, IN
PLEASE PLAN ON ARRIVING AT THE STARTING LOCATION PROMPTLY AT 6:00 AM – OTHER PARTICIPANTS WILL BE DEPENDING ON YOU. It is critical that all participants promptly leave the starting location on time in order to maximize the amount of time they have to complete the event.

Check in at the starting location will begin at 6:00 am and end promptly at 7:00 am. Please plan on checking in as early as possible because the more time you have to get your bike ready and to stock up on snacks and sports drinks for the upcoming ride the better. We also may not be able to assure a timely departure if all our participants decide to check in at 6:40 am.

At 7:00 am we will conduct an opening meeting where we will describe our policies and procedures and answer any questions you might have. After the opening meeting is complete the route will officially open with a group departure. Attending the opening meeting in mandatory for safety purposes and participants may not depart before the route opens.

Rest Stops and Route Closing Times
There will be 6 supported rest stops on the route including the starting and ending locations. These rest stop locations will officially be open during specific times, during which we will provide our on road support services.

The entire route and all support services will close at 6:30 pm to assure a timely departure for the return transportation service from Kenosha. All participants must have arrived at the ending location in Kenosha by that time, including all participants doing the Kenosha century loop option.

We strongly recommend planning on eating lunch there since rest stop 4 is the perfect distance to have lunch at and you can be absolutely sure you be able to depart rest stop 4 by its official closing time.

Arrival at the Ending Location and Check Out
