Having us transport baggage from the previous RAGBRAI stopping town directly to our transportation staging point in the RAGBRAI ending town will be much, much easier for most of our participants and will also significantly help us depart the RAGBRAI ending town faster. This is because you won't need to go back and pick up and transport your baggage to our transportation staging point in the RAGBRAI ending town after you arrive there, it will already be waiting for you!

We will have two separate locations to drop off your baggage with us on Saturday morning in the previous RAGBRAI stopping town - both at the RAGBRAI main campground baggage truck and also at the Pork Belly Ventures camping location. We will be accepting baggage at both locations from 5:00 am when the RAGBRAI baggage truck opens until 8:00 am when it departs. We will then transport your baggage directly to our transportation staging point in the RAGBRAI ending town and unload it there for you so you can still have access to your personal items when you arrive (change of clothes, shower stuff, car keys, book for the ride home, etc.).

If our transportation staging point in the RAGBRAI ending town is at the same location as the RAGBRAI Main Baggage drop off and/or Pork Belly Ventures:

• You should still use the same method of transporting your baggage from the previous town and DO NOT give us your baggage in the previous town since we will both be set up at the same location in the RAGBRAI ending town anyways. Doing so will save us a significant amount of work and time departing the previous town, ultimately helping to ensure a timely departure from the ending town.
• If you are not using the RAGBRAI baggage truck or Pork Belly Ventures to transport your baggage during the week of RAGBRAI we will still be set up at both locations in the previous town to accept baggage from you.

If Your Baggage is Being Transported Another Way
If your baggage is being transported another way than the RAGBRAI semitruck or Pork Belly Ventures (such as with another charter service or team) it is very important to check where your staging points will be both in the RAGBRAI previous stopping town and ending town to determine what will the easiest way for you to transfer your baggage to us - either Saturday morning in the previous RAGBRAI stopping town or Saturday afternoon in the RAGBRAI ending town.

You can still deliver your baggage to us in the previous RAGBRAI stopping town on Saturday morning even if you are not using the RAGBRAI baggage truck or Pork Belly Ventures to transport your baggage (such as another charter service or team).
