Check In
Check in for participants initially meeting us at the starting town who DO NOT take our transportation service before the start of the event will be at 7:30 pm the day before the ride at the supported hotel. We may conduct check in either in the supported hotel lobby or in the parking lot if we also need to watch and distribute the bicycles transported as part of our transportation service at the same time.

Immediately after check in we will conduct an opening meeting for all participants initially arriving on the day before the ride.

After the opening meeting we will conduct a GPS training session and help you install your handlebar mounts if necessary.

We STRONGLY prefer you to check in the day before the ride instead of the morning of the ride if possible. You will be better able to get more familiar with the cue sheets and maps and the operation of our GPS units if necessary as well as get to know other participants.

If you will not be able to check in and attend the opening meeting at the supported hotel the day before the ride, you must check in and attend the opening meeting at 4:30 am the next morning. We will also give you your registration materials at this time.

Dinner
Dinner will be on your own and is not included in registration. Restaurants are available directly within our supported hotels and/or within an easy walking or biking distance from them. Specific information about available restaurants is listed under the information for each town.

Most participants are usually interested in going to dinner together to get to know each other a little better. We will help coordinate this on an informal basis immediately after the opening meeting and/or GPS training session.
