Charter Services During the Week

About Bubba and Bubba's Pampered Pedalers • Registration

We will only be offering transportation services between downtown Chicago and the start and end of RAGBRAI. We will not be offering any other services during the week of RAGBRAI itself such as baggage transportation between overnight towns or private reserved camping areas.

Instead, we have partnered with Bubba's Pampered Pedalers to provide these daily services to our participants during the week. Bubba's Pampered Pedalers is an official RAGBRAI charter and offers the premier PAMPERING service available on RAGBRAI. We will get you to and from RAGBRAI while Bubba's PAMPERED Pedalers will allow you to ride your bike while they do ALL the work.

What's Included
Everything you need after a long day of riding is included at one low fee:

• Tent and air mattress service. (Full PAMPERING Only) Bubba supplies you with:
  • A quality Kelty tent and put up it up and take it down every day, even in the rain
  • A fully inflated air mattress for your sleeping pleasure
• Daily baggage transportation between stopping towns
• Personal baggage delivery directly to your tent (Full PAMPERING Only)
• Charging station for all personal electronic devices
• Reserved camping locations
• PAMPER Zone canopies for a shaded sitting area
• Deluxe camp chairs
• Free cold drinks (non-alcoholic)
• Free snacks including peanut butter and jelly
• Morning Coffee. Oh yea!
• Towels and wash cloths for showers daily (showers are not always on-site but always close)
• Bicycle work station (work stand, floor pumps, shop rags)
• Their own private porta-potties located directly at their campsites
• Bubba designed T-Shirt (Full PAMPERING Only)
• Massage therapist (extra fee)
• Jerseys (extra fee, offered only to riders registering for Full PAMPERING)

For those who want to enjoy some PAMPERING however wish to bring their own tent and do all the work, Bubba offers (for a reduced fee) all items above with the exceptions noted above. Yes, you can be part of the PAMPER Zone and enjoy all that comes with it while still bringing your own tent and doing all that work. Bubba calls it the Mini-PAMPERING Option and it will be available exclusively to our particpants!

What's NOT Included

• Personal bedding (sleeping bag, air mattress, etc.)
• Hassles, headaches or fussin'– if anything comes up, let Bubba know and he will work with you to resolve it.

We have personally known Bubba since 2004 and can personally attest to his strong work ethic, attention to detail, and sincerely caring attitude. As your host, Bubba understands what you want and need on RAGBRAI.

A cyclist himself, Bubba has ridden RAGBRAI many times and also was an official RAGBRAI crew member for several years. He has completed over 40 week long organized bicycle tours all over the country in addition to a solo, self-contained, cross country on a recumbent pulling a BOB trailer.

Not only has Bubba been pampering riders since 2002, each spring he is the proud host of "BubbaFest - Florida Keys" and also leads a group of cyclists on "Coast 2 Coast" from San Diego, CA. to St. Augustine, FL.

Registration
Bubba's Pampered Pedalers only accepts registrations from the first 150 riders on a first-come, first-served basis. These slots will fill fast, so secure your reservation with Bubba's Pampered Pedalers today!

The registration and fees for Bubba's Pampered Pedalers charter service and the registration and fees for our transportation service are separate and they should not be submitted together. Registering for our transportation service does not automatically register you for Bubba's Pampered Pedalers charter service, and registering for Bubba's Pampered Pedalers charter service does not automatically register you for our transportation service. You must register and pay for both separately on your own. Please do not send us your registration or fees for Bubba's Pampered Pedalers charter service or send Bubba's Pampered Pedalers the registration or fees for our transportation service.

We strongly recommend registering for our transportation service, RAGBRAI itself, and Bubba's Pampered Pedalers RAGBRAI charter services at the same time and as early as possible!
