POLICIES AND PROCEDURES
Payments

All mechanical services and parts must be paid for in full up to the estimated amount before any work will begin. There will be absolutely no exceptions to this policy for any reason.

Our mechanic will provide you with an estimate of the necessary work to be performed and any parts needed before any work begins, and can also issue you a receipt for all work peformed and parts provided upon request.

Particularly in our stopping towns, having everything prepaid will actually be much more convenient than collecting payment afterward. The money would have to be paid anyways and after your bike is done you will be able to just pick it up yourself, rather than having to find our mechanic to pay him if he is not around.

Although it is our mechanic's intent to provide you with the most accurate and complete estimate possible, it is possible that an unforeseen situation may arise in which your bike needs additional work and/or parts. In this case our mechanic will inform you of any additional amount needed and you will need to settle up on that amount before your bicycle can be returned.

If you are on the road and your bike cannot be ridden and you do not have enough money to pay for any mechanical services and/or parts necessary to repair your bicycle to a rideable condition, you and your bike will be transported to the next stopping town according to our SAG Vehicle Support procedures.
