Loaner Wheels and Bikes

In case you have a mechanical breakdown that our mechanic can't fix within a reasonable amount of time, we will have loaner wheels and bikes available directly on the road so you can continue riding the rest of the ride that day!

Due to the wide variety of types of pedals available, pedals are not included in loaner bike rentals. Instead, our mechanic will swap your own pedals from your ownbike to the loaner bike.

Loaner bikes and wheels are only for use on the road and may not be used in town. You must return the loaner wheel or bike to our mechanic promptly at the end of your ride that day regardless of whether or not your bike has been repaired, otherwise you will be charged for an additional rental day of the loaner wheel or bike. That way you can easily pick up your bike in the morning in case it is repaired later that night. If you will be using a loaner wheel or bike the next day, our mechanic will leave it on the rack for you to pick up instead of your own wheel or bike. The only time you may keep a loaner wheel or bike in town overnight is if you will definitely be using it the next riding day.

Only a limited number of loaner wheels and bikes will be available, and we cannot guarantee their availability.

If you do not have the mechanical support plan you will have to pay daily rental fee to use a loaner wheel or bike. Rental rates are flat per day and will not be prorated based on the amount of the ride remaining when you begin using the loaner wheel or bike.

Participants will be liable for any damages to loaner wheels or bikes.
