Your Bike and Baggage
 Parking
for the duration of all our events will be available in every stopping
town unless otherwise noted. It will be your own responsibility to inform
us of your individual parking plans.
Fees
We will not be responsible for the payment of any
parking fees (when applicable), you must pay
the parking location direclty on your own.
Parking Sign
You will need to download this sign, fill in the appropriate information, and
leave it in plain view on your dashboard or windshield if you plan on parking
your car in any stopping town for more than one day. That way you can be
contacting in case of any problems with your car while you are away during
the event.
Transporting
Your Bike and Baggage to and/or from the Parking Locations
Here is the best way to transport your bike and baggage to and/or from the
parking locations:
Arrival at the Main Lodging Site
If you are staying at the
main lodging site, drive there and leave your baggage (but not your bike)
there after the tour arrives so your bags are not left unattended. Then
drive back to the parking location with your bike, park your car,
and ride your bike back to the main lodging site.
Arrival at the Supported Hotel
If you are staying at the supported
hotel, drive there and leave your baggage (but not your bike)
at the front desk or in your
room. Then drive back to the parking location with your bike, park
your car, and ride your bike back to the supported
hotel.
Arrival at Another Location
If you are arriving at another location (such as a transportation service
staging point not at the parking location), drive there and leave your
baggage (but not your bike) there.
We will always arrange someone
there with whom you can leave your baggage. Then drive back to
the parking location with your bike, park your car, and ride your bike back
to that location.
Departures
After you arrive at the main ending location for that day's ride, bike to
the parking location. Pick up your car, drive back to the ending location
with your bike and pick up your baggage. Make sure that your bags do not
have the hotel baggage delivery
tags on them or they will be delivered to the supported hotel. |
