Event Changes

Every aspect of every event is subject to change at any time. In general we will not plan on changing any major aspect of any event unless there is a specific reason to do so, particularly after anyone has registered for that event, in order to minimize any negative effects of that change. However, we must also be able to change our events at any time in response to changing conditons.

All changes to any event will be listed on the appropriate Updates page(s). We will also e-mail the registered participants of the affected event(s) about about any significant changes promptly after they are enacted, such as changes to our starting or ending locations, supported hotels, transportation staging points, or use of specific public transportation carrier schedules, particularly if these changes might affect their personal transportation plans.

Some necessary changes are beyond our control however and we can not be responsible for the results of any change, such as any participant having to change or cancel any reservations made on any long distance public transportation services or at any supported hotel. We also can not be responsible if any prospective participant misses an important change because they were not registered for the event at the time the change was implemented.

Yearly Event Changes
In general, our events will remain the same year after year. This includes such considerations as our route, our rest stop locations, and our facilities and services in each town. Regular changes to our events will generally be of a "maintenance" type nature in response to advice and suggestions for improvement from our participants and local resources.

Why You Don't Want Yearly Changes
We won't even begin to try and explain the almost insurmountable amount of work necessary to put together a high quality cycling event. When other cycling events change their stopping towns, rest stop locations, and/or route year after year they risk not only your safety but your enjoyment and the quality of your experience as well because of all the problems that can and will go wrong from all the new unknowns.

Both our routes and our supporting facilities and services have been proven to be outstanding by our previous participants. By keeping most aspects of our events the same year after year, we continue to improve the amount and quality of our services for our participants by developing stronger and deeper relationships with each one of these communities we pass through. In addition you will know our plans well in advance so you can make your personal preparations accordingly.

Rather than setting up new stopping towns, rest stop locations and routes year after year, we feel that our time and resources are best spent improving the level of services for our participants. Based on our surveys after our events, our average customer satisfaction is 8.5 out of 10 and many people have given us a perfect score of 10 out of 10. We run absolutely world class cycling events!

Ask yourself which experience you'd rather have – one that is the culmination of years of continuous improvement built upon previous successes - or one where no one truly knows what the quality of your experience will really be like because they've never done it before and have no previous experience or idea of what to expect.
