Parking

Parking for the entire tour is available in every one of our stopping towns except Cairo! Click Here for more information about arriving in a car and parking. Click Here to inform us of your individual parking plans. Because parking will not be available in Cairo, participants who want to initially park their car at the start of the tour must park their car in Carbondale and take the transportation service from Carbondale to Cairo before the start of the tour. We will not offer transportation service from Carbondale to Cairo after the end of the tour.

Locations
Parking in every stopping town except Chicago and Cairo will either be directly at or very close to the Amtrak train station. This is because our primary travel method between every stopping town is the Amtrak train.

Having the parking at the Amtrak train station means you won't have to won't have to transport yourself, your bicycle, or your baggage very far to your car after you arrive via the Amtrak train particularly for our transportation service from Chicago after the end of the tour, mid-route pick ups drop offs, and partial day trips.
